1. Preamble

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the mobile application 12 Testers - App community ("the App"), published by:

By creating an account or using the App, you accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App and refrain from using the service.

2. Definitions

• User: Any person who creates an account and uses the App.
• Campaign: A testing request published by a User seeking testers for their Android application on Google Play.
• Test: The act of opting in to a Campaign's Google Play closed testing track and testing the application.
• Cheese: Virtual currency within the App, earned by testing apps or purchased via in-app purchase.
• The Feed: The main listing of active Campaigns available for testing.
• Boost: A paid promotion that increases a Campaign's visibility on The Feed.

3. Service Description

12 Testers is a community platform that helps Android developers meet Google Play's requirement of having at least 12 testers on a closed testing track for 14 consecutive days before requesting production access.

The App allows Users to:

• Create Campaigns to recruit testers for their Android applications.
• Test other Users' applications and earn Cheese as a reward.
• Boost their Campaigns for increased visibility.
• Purchase Cheese packs via in-app purchases.

4. Account Creation and Management

To use the App, you must create an account using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old, or 16 with parental consent, to use the App.

Each User may only maintain one account. Creating multiple accounts to abuse the Cheese system is strictly prohibited and will result in permanent ban.

5. Cheese Virtual Currency

Cheese is a virtual currency with no monetary value outside the App. Cheese cannot be transferred to other Users, exchanged for real currency, or refunded except as required by applicable law.

Cheese is earned by completing tests on other Users' applications. Cheese can also be purchased via in-app purchases through Google Play Billing. All in-app purchases are subject to Google Play's refund policy and to our Sales Terms, which detail product descriptions, pricing, delivery, the refund reconciliation policy, and the right of withdrawal.

6. Campaign Rules

When creating a Campaign, you must provide accurate information about your application, including a valid Google Play Store link. The following are prohibited:

• Publishing Campaigns for malicious, harmful, or illegal applications.
• Providing false or misleading application descriptions.
• Attempting to manipulate the testing process or fake test completions.
• Spamming The Feed with duplicate Campaigns.

We reserve the right to remove any Campaign that violates these Terms without refund of Cheese spent.

7. Testing Obligations

When you opt in to test an application, you agree to genuinely install and use the application for the required testing period. Fraudulent testing (opting in without actually testing) may result in Cheese forfeiture and account suspension.

8. Prohibited Conduct

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

• Using bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the App.
• Exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities in the App.
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing other Users.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer the App.
• Circumventing any security measures.
• Creating fake accounts or impersonating other Users.

9. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for:

• The quality, safety, or legality of applications listed on The Feed.
• Any disputes between Users.
• Google Play's decisions regarding your application's publishing status.
• Service interruptions or data loss.

10. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, code, and content are the exclusive property of Indevo. "12 Testers", the mouse logo, and all associated branding elements are trademarks of Indevo.

Users retain ownership of their application data and content submitted to the App.

11. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, any remaining Cheese balance is forfeited.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Significant changes will be communicated via in-app notification.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute arising from the use of the App shall be submitted to the competent courts of France, after an attempt at amicable resolution.
